A curious mind exploring many genres through the camera.
EVO India to SWAROOP

Humble Beginnings
In 2015, I began my career as an intern at EVO India Automobile magazine. From 2016 to 2019, I joined our family business, Swaroop Photo Lab, where I primarily handled photo printing and managed operations, processing nearly 15,000 prints daily. At Swaroop, I majorly understood the operations side of the business and gradually developed a strong interest in the creative side. Over time, I transitioned into wedding photography and shot more than 30 weddings. Soon, I realized wedding photography was not enough to satisfy my creative hunger.
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION

The Movie Set Experience
In 2019, I got the opportunity to work on the Marathi film Mi Vasantrao, directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, where I handled behind-the-scenes coverage. Being on set was a turning point. I learned lighting and camera work in great depth, picked up insights into direction, and understood how a film set truly functions. Overall, the experience gave me a massive skill jump, especially in the camera department.
FREELANCE FREEDOM

COVID-19 & Beyond
After trying my hand at weddings, I felt a strong urge to explore more genres behind the camera. So in 2021, I jumped into freelancing, shooting everything except weddings. By early 2022, I started working with social media agencies, creating photo and video content for brands. During this phase, I built hands-on experience shooting automobiles, food, fashion, and lifestyle products. I also began developing small scripts and working on campaign-based content, which pushed me to grow not just creatively, but strategically as well.
FREELANCE TO COMPANY

From Freelance Roots to a Kickass Company
From 2021 to 2025, I worked with over 50 clients along with a close-knit team of five, two cinematographers, two editors, and myself. We collaborated with a wide mix of clients, from doctors, psychologists, and insurance agents to influencers, clothing brands, food and beverage companies, jewelry brands, the automobile sector, and corporate events. On average, we handled around 15 monthly retainer clients at any given time. In 2025, I handed over my production team to a friend for his social media marketing agency. This entire journey pushed my skills in direction, team management, and leadership to a whole new level.
A NEW CHAPTER

Beginning of a New Journey
After nearly a decade of working across different genres, the journey I left incomplete at EVO India still feels unfinished. Somewhere deep down, I know I haven’t done enough in the automobile space. I’ve always been an automobile enthusiast, closely following motorsports and constantly drawn to machines on wheels. Even after all these years, that curiosity hasn’t faded. I’ve done countless road trips to Goa, Pondicherry, Kodaikanal, Chikmagalur, Shimla, and Konkan, both by car and on motorcycles. Those journeys shaped how I see automobiles, not just as vehicles but as stories waiting to be told. Now, I want to niche down my work in the automobile sector, focusing on capturing motorsports, vehicle launches, documentaries, ads, and road-trip films.
